WordPress 2.3 Dexter - No Problem
I usually never have any problems with upgrading from one version to another. I back up my database and back up files and then I upgrade and it’s easy as melting ice in the sun. This time I am very excited about a new feature. This time tags is a integrated part of WordPress and I love tags and use them a lot so I am very happy about that. I used to use a plugin to manage my tags and the only feature I miss is the option to choose from existing tags. Hopefully more features related to the tags will be implemented in future versions.
There was a few changes to the database tables but it was a easy fix. I actually don’t mind that they change them from time to time and of course it is annoying when a plugin won’t work after a upgrade but I think it is good that the plugin authors are forced to upgrade plugins to keep up with the great standard of WordPress coding!
