Get A Life Grown Ups
Tomorrow I have the last day as a vice chairman in the cooperative home association tomorrow. I can’t wait. It have been a very mixed experience but mostly a bad one. As the youngest of the board members I have been horrified by the intrigues and gossip a handful board members can produce about the people they are in association with. It’s private things that have nothing to do with the association itself that they are spreading gossip about and some of the things isn’t even true.
I do not want to participate in the gossip about my neighbors. I have had a few problems with the people who lives right next to us but that have been regular problems and not just mindless gossip. I have my doubts that some of the people who is board members even have a social circle besides other people who lives in the community.
It was clear that the person who is going to be taking over my position also ave heard a lot about me and she wanted the chairman to be present because obviously it rumors that I don’t know what I am doing. I don’t care though - soon I will be gone and I certainly don’t envy the lives they will continue to have. Get a life.
