Feed Reader For My Desktop

I can’t seem to find a good feedreader for my desktop. I was wondering what reader is the most popular. I looked into Google’s but I don’t like that I can’t add the site directly from my browser.

Currently I am using the Sage extension for my FireFox browser and I am really satisfied. Unfortunately I know I will loose these feeds and have to re-add each one of the should I get a new computer or should this one crash and burn.

Feel free to suggest a good feedreader for my desktop!
