The Unseen - Fibromyalgia
Have you ever heard of fibromyalgia? I had never heard of it until recently. It’s a condition that a lot of people suffer from and causes pain in joins and muscles, difficulties concentrating and the feeling of being tired constantly. The condition have been found in both genders of all ages but it’s mostly women who have the condition.
The disease is not completely cureable and even that you can learn to handle the pain or “control” it with medication it must indded be terrible to live with a disease like this. I am happy that a lot of research are being put into it - especially to get rid of fake medicin and whatelse pops-up when there are money to earn on desperate people.
It is also important not to confuse fibromyalgia with a mental disease - not that many years ago the disease was being blamed on PMS, mental unstability and so on but the WHO have acknowledged the diagnosis and hopefully a lot more research will be done because of that!
