I love listen to the radio and I was listening to a very interesting interview yesterday about the television and it’s future in (this case) danish homes. The tendecy is little home theatres. Out goes the old home alter and in comes home theater chairs, high definition flat screen televisions - in several rooms such as the bedroom, livingroom and of course? - kitchen!
I must admit I wouldn’t mind to have our television replaced with a flat screen tv instead of the big chunk we have now taking up a lot of space in the livingroom. I highly doubt I would like a television in the kitchen or bathroom - I am personally getting stressed out by constant visual input so I have a radio (a very oldschool version) in the kitchen.
So my conclusion to the new trend must be that we stick to our current furniture and hopefully get our television replaced with a more modern one - but that we won’t hesitate visiting those who implement the entire theatre package in their homes to get the total movie experience away from the usual cinemas.
