Bye Doggie
We ended up having Sally put down. She was not developing right and she was almost apathic in the end. I must admit I don’t feel too bad about it because I know that the outcome would have been bad no matter what - so I am just happy that she isn’t suffering no more. She was only 6 months old - and it was my husband who brought her to her final destination at the vet.
I won’t say that we are never going to buy a dog again but I feel that we need to “get over” Sally completely first. My daughter - who is almost two years now doesn’t seem to have noticed that Sally is missing so I doubt she will even remember her - and in a way I think that is a good thing. Rest in peace Sally.
