Google Desktop
Currently I am giving it a go! I am a little disappointed that the built in feedreader doesn’t automatically fetches the subscriptions you have at your Google homepage. I am getting tired of adding feeds - and it can’t automatically find the feeds - you obviously have to manually add the feed address.
Besides that there is a bunch of different widgets you can add to it. Most of them are crap. Who needs 4 different kinds of a analogue clock on her desktop? The most local weather I get here in Denmark is the weather for Copenhagen… Which is too far away to tell me about my current weather where I actually live.
There is a few funny add ons though - I guess I yet have to find them though. It’s just too bloated. I need to try another desktop feedreader. Because the feedreader is actually the only widget that isn’t repulsively bloated.
